- Artist Statement: “Contemplation”- This painting for me is about the very beginning of a journey. How do I begin? At this stage it all is all overwhelming, fearsome but exciting. Which road do I choose to take? I choose to trust my instinct here. Let go of my inner critic and paint from the heart. I start this amazing journey of mark making.
