- Artist Statement: “Searching” – What I am searching for. I am I looking for a reason to be here. I am looking for an answer of what all this is about. As an artist I am learning to let go of that need to search for a reason. Sometimes if I start to overthink, over analyse, the inner critic raises her ugly head of judgement, fear, and a sense of failure. I feel lost with no direction.. Searching became a gentle reminder to me. If I do not listen to the inner self, learn to trust, I will always be searching. A woman emerges looking for guidance, but happy and content within herself.
