- Artist Statement: “Sharing the Journey” - This painting is about the importance of having connections with the outside world. As humans we need to connect. Along my artist journey, I have met some amazing people along the way. They have shared their skills, their networks and above all, a true sense of themselves. I do believe that if you open the door – an amazing array of people will suddenly be there – to give your information or guidance. Sharing with your family, your friends, your community, I remember the stories, the laughs, the tears, rather than the material things. So I feel there is always someone to share our journey.
