- Artist Statement: “Allow Your Wings to Grow “– When I was painting, these figures emerged totally surrounded by nature. I feel the painting is teaching me to learn to be patient, to grow at my own pace. I often jump in head first (yes the old Aries style) Sometimes victorious, most times shattered and bruised. I feel I need to allow the time, be in tune, listen.. Sometimes we need to grow, sometimes we need to reflect.
