- Artist Statement: “Trust” – As always when you are painting from the heart, there has to be a huge element of trust between the canvas and yourself….When you totally let go into the realms of painting like a wild women, it is a wonderful feeling of being able to surrender to whatever happens. The energy is amazing. I can often feel like I have run this marathon (around the canvas). When I look up and see that I have painted 6 hours straight without a thought or care for the outside world, I know that I have been totally captivated and entranced by the action of trusting myself to paint from my heart.
