- Artist Statement: “Fertility” – The feeling and colours as they here emerging gave me such a deep sense of beauty. The figure that emerged was sensitive, her breasts full, very pregnant and proud. I feel this became the painting that made me realize, that from a simple motion of learning to listen and paint from the heart , I had created an exhibit of paintings that came basically with the birth of an idea, nurturing the idea and being the instrument to make and watch it unfold. I have deep connection here with being a mother. I thank this beautiful woman for her gift of allowing me to be me.
