- Artist Statement: “Nurture, Grow and Stand Tall” – I live in a paddock, on a very windy hill (true Dongara style). The view all around me is amazing. There is a gully, another hill and this amazing sky. I feel, I am surrounded by such a force of beauty, in the sunrise, in the sky, in the moon. A lot of my paintings have a sun or moon as I feel so connected with them living on my hill. Nurture, Grow and Stand Tall is about giving me permission to be the artist, I want to be. And above all to be proud of what I can do without the inner critic raising her head.
