- Artist Statement: “New Beginnings” – This painting is dedicated to the start of my new journey as an artist, to the new paths I need to take, to the connections I have made and the connections I need to make. It is about having the courage to take the leap. The name ‘Sunrise Hill Art Gallery’ came from the amazing gift that the sky provides every day. Every window in my house frames a snapshot of the sky. Beautiful arrays of colours are splashed across the sky, sometimes dramatic, sometimes barely there – Every moment it changes
